Position title: Project Administrator

Location: Pinetown, KZN

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Administrator to join our KZN branch in Pinetown, Durban.

 

You will be responsible to coordinate and administer projects of varying sizes and complexity. The main purpose of your role will be to ensure that the project runs smoothly, progress is tracked, and team members are informed at all times.

 

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Juggle multiple projects and priorities from beginning to completion
  • Participate in catch up sessions and meetings to discuss project requirements, scope and objectives
  • Translate project objectives into tasks
  • Create project schedules and set timeframes
  • Assign tasks to team members and regularly update schedules according to project timeframe and progress
  • Coordinate activities, resources and information
  • Be the point of contact between project team
  • Track project progress and deal with issues
  • Produce project specific documentation and reports
  • Support the engineering team with project related documentation
  • Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules and documents relating to the project
  • Resolve any queries that are raised and communicate these to the team
  • Identify and manage risks to ensure timely delivery
  • Keep project team in the loop at all times
  • Ensure standards and requirements are met

Qualifications and experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in Project Management or relevant field of study
  • 3 years project related experience from conception to delivery
  • Previous experience in a similar position
